Oh by the way for those considering surgery I have just read an article about using your own stem cells with cologen to re generate discs going to clinical trials so it may be worth hanging in there!
Look forward to your answers!

I am curious, i have come back from seeing the grim reaper again this morning and been condemned to A LIFE OF PAIN , yep thats the chaps good news. The bad news is he is referring me to a surgeon. Well now thats a thinker i can tell you. On the way back i have been a thinking. I am actually feeling better in myself, i drink much more water i do my exercises my overall pain levels are lower but i have developed a lot of pain standing or putting wieght on my right leg. JUST ANOTHER FLARE UP , says the reaper, ONE YOU SHOULD EXPECT FOR THE REMAINDER OF YOU LIFE. Cheerful chap eh, and so annoying speaking in CAPITALS ! Anyway degenerated disc desease ( I know its not a desease before you jump in) the 3 D's then are due to the disc losing height so if they can be re hydrated as Dean suggests the hey presto no more LBP. So anyone out there got the before and afters?

Gaspode wrote:Thanks for your reply yannick. I have gone down hill even though I am exercising. Do you have flare ups? Mine has been two weeks now, I can't stand without major pain. Bought inversion table but soon after using it this pain started before that I could walk 20 mins. I am seriously thinking of surgery the pain is that bad! I have ordered glucosamine/MSM supplement and also zymessence a systemic enzyme which i hope will help with the inflammation. I cant do the hip exercises so was concerned about rehydration hence my question. I did read about this stem cell treatment for discs have you seen anything on this your end? I am in UK by the way.

I have looked at a german clinic and the cost to replace 1 disc is 25,000 euro's way outside my budget i am afraid. I will check out France.
I have two herniated discs L4/L5 i think because no one tells me. I am going to get a private consultation and obtain a private MRI then it will be MY information and not the NHS property. You would think they are interested in making you pain free but thats not the feeling i am getting!
The strange this is my decline has been rapid. Only 3 weeks agao i could walk a mile but had pains down my right leg. Now i dont have pains down my leg but cant put any weight on it. I am not convinced its anything to do with my DDD but the consultant just doesnt listen and todate has not even carried out a physical simply gone from the MRI.
I will most certainly order the genacol product as i would rather rebuild my disc than have surgery. I have been given a doctors note for a week off work to "rest" but like us all i will be searching searching searching, laughing.
Do you think genacol would be better than MSM? I am on another site "losethebackpain" and there is a guy there Dave Hutchieson ex para that had vitually crushed is two lower discs to almost nothing. He had time on the "robot" with Al Melius and now uses the Pettibon system with wobble chair. He sent me his xrays and the difference is amazing! He takes MSM

Gaspode wrote:Interesting what you say about the LTBP system as I also ordered it. I found the assessment very interesting well guess i would as no one but no one has assessed me yet. So i was taken away with it. Stopped doing the RYB exercises and started their regime. Now my going down hill does seem to coincide with changing the programme! One think i hate about the LTBP programme is the amount of crap they keep advertising and pushing at you. Today i have decided on a short term plan of action which means i am going to do some light exercises from RYB and see what happens in a week, i will find a second oppinion, i will arrange another MRI scan and then see where we go. Great talking to you Yannick, I guess no one can answer my original question a few people have looked but no other comments than yours. Keep up the good work and i hope that you keep improving!
