Sciatic pain with side bend
Hi everyone I'm new and recently began the Part 1 exercises and found that my sciatic leg pain is triggered when doing side bends to the right. My sciatic pain is in the right leg and hip BTW. The pain comes on very suddenly and sharp so its not like I can ease into the stretch. Should this stretch be avoided, or modified?
Went to PT today and asked about this. After about an 1/2 hour of checking and looking the PT worked with me on my posture and then tighten up the abs and retry the right side bend. No sciatic pain!!!!!!!! Now if I can learn to get this all positioned correctly on my own maybe I'll make some progress. I'm going to guess ab work is on the menu for the next visit.
