Good day to you. Please by all means tell me will I be able to do anything your books tells me to do? I am now fixed with 2 rods, 6 screws and one plate in my cervical area C3 to C5, I have 2 rods, 6 screws, 1 plate and missing half of my vertebrea in L3 to S1. Seems someone doesn't like the color of my car and my former employer doesn't like women who start to move up the rakes hehehe. okay seriously though, is it at all possilbe i can still rebuild my spine. I was just told by my orthopedic doctor that now T6 and T7 are buldging. This could mean more surgery , more rods and so forth. I was told that I have spinal steonis, is there a cure for this or am I destint to be a cybor........

At least you've managed to maintain your sense of humor...

I'm confident that there is hope for your thoracic discs. They should still have the potential to heal since they still have unrestricted movement.

There will be limitations as far as your cervical and lumbar areas due to the fusion surgeries. You can probably still do most of the exercises, but how much you'll be able to obtain is unpredictable.

All you can do is try.

I would also suggest that you find a good physical therapist (they are not all the same) to work with you. They will be better able to tailor a program to your specific needs ... something a book can't do.

Learn to love your hardware! Best way to deal with it is to just forget it's there. Yeah, I know, at first I felt like a walking harware store and someone did actually try to stick a fridge magnet to the back of my neck, but now I can hardly believe it's there. Before I was stabilized, I was paralyzed from the neck down. Now I'm learning to walk and althought it could be another year before I'm fully mobile (I'm 3 years and 3 stabilizing surgeries out), someday I will dance again! Keep your chin up (hey, you have no chance, right??)!
