New to RYB - Close to Recovery!

Post by dmrduke » Wed Sep 26, 2012 7:42 pm

Hello,

I am in a different situation than most of you on this forum. I have been working on recovery of a herniated disk and a bulging disk in my lower for about 2 years now. I can honestly say I am about 80% and I still have some lower pain. I have to be constantly aware of my condition and my goal is to eliminate this. I took the normal route: doctor, pain pills, more doctor, more pain pills, physical therapist, specialists, good pains pills and then a MRI. I refused surgery and E injections. This was the point I started doing major research on what to do and after many tests and trials I found that this combo worked well for me: Inversion Table before bed, a pillow between my legs when sleeping, stretching twice a day and seeing a chiropractor every 4 weeks. I still wasn't satisfied so I kept looking. After reading RYB I seriously think the program could get me to 100% by just building strength and balance. I will also be taking "crack" appt. out of my routine. In conclusion, I want to let everyone know my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone on the forum. I can only hope that we can all get on a good routine to get our normal lifestyles back.
