Re: TMS question

Here's my question- Is it possible to have physical AND emotional factors contributing to my problem? I would say yes, it's very possible to have both a physical and emotional factor involved in your back pain especially if it's been going on for a long time. I don't agree with everything that Dr S...

Hi Marlene,

I moved your posting to this section where it may get more attention.

I'm not familiar with the chair you mention, but maybe someone else has and can tell us something about it.

Hi Ken, The "new post" notifications all come from the "webmaster (at) RYB" email address same as listed at the bottom of this page. It's possible they are being mistaken for spam, as you mentioned. I know the software is sending emails because I get notifications from the forum for various administ...

Also, that's why I've been rather silent lately ... I've had my head "under the hood" for the past several weeks. Hey... anybody notice the Date and Time stamps are working? Woohoo!!! Uncle Dean's been busy. (Sorry, I get a little loopy when I get tired.) Good discussion on Sarno, by the way. Nite a...

Hi Ken, I've got some email features turned off on the board at the moment ... that may be why you're not being notified. I've been updating, modifying, tweaking, wrestling, cursing, loving and caressing the software lately ... and with the new anti-spam measures I've just installed ... I may be tur...

Thanks Randolph, It's a long article, so I just skimmed through it for now. It looks good ... he quotes Deyo and Weinstein, a couple of the good guys ... and he also mentions the Physicians Neck and Back Clinic, in Minnesota ... an outfit that I recommend on the Resources page. I saved a copy and I'...

Hi Ken, Some people respond quickly to the exercises and some aren't so lucky. The thing to keep in mind is that the nerve isn't healed yet, even if one of the exercises managed to take the pressure off of it temporarily. Just be thankful for this bit of relief and don't lose site of the bigger goal...

Hi guys, I saw an infomercial about a year ago on the Bean chair and thought at the time that it looked like a good product. It seemed like it would be safer to use than a conventional exercise ball while possibly giving you the benefits of some instability. (Hard to say without actually trying it o...

Did they actually remove your piriformis muscle? That seems a bit odd.

Let us know how you're doing.

Hi guys, Thanks for the kind words Mark. Just want to warn people about listing email addresses in the forum. The Spam bots are on the prowl and are voracious. It's better to code them as I did above... and be sure an turn off your address in your profile... unless you want Spam, of course. I'm goin...

Hi Rupert, I can't address the specific program you were on, but in general, I can't see any reason why you couldn't continue it once you get past the back problems. (By the way, I edited your post slightly. It's generally not a good idea to address questions directly to me ... or anyone for that ma...

Hi Mark, Welcome to the group. Don't worry about the amount. The reason I'm trying to make this work through donations is so that the books will be affordable for anyone who needs them. My theory is - if I deliver a quality product - you'll tell your friends and word of mouth will make up the differ...
