Hi maxsy1 , Sounds like you have unfortunately got a "Hamburger with the Lot" there :( I think we have all gone thru the pain , depression , loss of the ability to do normal things etc like you have mentioned , So you are not alone and these things seem to be very common . Often CT / MRI scans show ...

Hi TomCat , I see your point and yes I also concur with the differences you see between the 2 different vehicles . Sitting in the bucket seats of my 2 cars is unpleasant for my back. But sitting in the passengers seat of a friends Mazda 1 Ton Van ( the seat is basically 2 lumps of foam with the back...

Hi Guys , Thought I'd chime in on this one . Certainly it is a good idea and the warm up stretches and exercises are probably some of the most important things that need to be drilled into everyone from an early age . I may have covered what I'm going to say below in earlier posts , but to re-inforc...

Yes I'd agree a Full Floater style water bed would not be a good choice , I'd even go so far to say even if your back is fine a #1 firm mattress would not be a wise choice due to the lack of support . My experience tends to indicate that a Water Bed is not doing the Back any harm in my ca...

Hi Guys :D The Exercise Balls / Swiss Balls are probably a pretty good Idea as you can also use them for several exercises that are back related . The kneeling chairs I think are a bit of a FAD from the early 1980's . I tried one out 20+ years ago for a few minutes ( I did NOT have a Back problem th...

Re: Where is everybody?????

He had surgery for his sciatica 1.5 years ago. He told me that the pain is back and that he could hardly walk a few weeks ago. The surgeon told him he would require another surgery. This enforces in me the fact that rebuilding is the best alternative. Hi Ken , Good to see you are on the improve :D ...
