Hi cn,

I think most places do MRI's before they put people on those traction machines. It is a shame the place you went to didn't before trying it on you. I think you may have had a bad physiotherapist. I hope your back gets to feeling better.

Hi Tony, Dean has an excellent book called, "The Pain Relief Manual" which covers joint problems the way his back books do. He explains in the intro to the book why he didn't name it "Rebuild Your Joints." I'd have to read it again to remember why exactly, but I think he didn't want to mislead peopl...

Hi Dean, I agree. I've bought parts from them and was very pleased with the price and how fast they shipped the parts to me. Another one I use if newegg doesn't have what I want is computergate.com. They aren't quite as good as newegg, but they often have odd hard to find stuff at very cheap prices....

Hi again, I've downloaded all three of the books and I heartily recommend all of them. I wish I'd had the Pain Relief Manual 30 years ago. It could have saved me a lot of time and trouble. But that's the way it goes. If you haven't already read all of the articles Dean's put up on this website espec...

Hi Steven, I know you're concerned about losing your hard-earned gains, but believe me, your fears are unfounded. I've been a bodybuilder for over 30 years and I've had to take many, many lay-offs for as long as 6 months or more at a time due to injuries and I've never had any trouble getting back t...

Hi Mike,

I agree with Jeanette. See a doctor like Dean says to rule out anything serious and then try the rebuilding exercises. I've recommended this site to several of my friends and every one of them has been extremely happy with their results.

Good luck,

re. what now

Hi Steven, I agree with Ron and just want to add that it sounds like you're dealing with a pinched nerve. Read Dean's articles on pinched nerves and herniated discs for more info. The problem with pinched nerves is that the very exercises you need to do to take the pressure off of the nerve may be c...

Hello Brody,

As you may have noticed from reading the posts here, most of us got relief from doing the exercises in Dean's book: Rebuild Your Neck. I don't know of anything else that works as well and I tried several things before I found this site. You can read about it on the books page.

Based on your description, it sounds like your pain may be more stress related than anything physically wrong. Would be curious to know what type of work you do? Is there a lot of stress or pressure that could make you tense? I'm assuming your at work between noon and 3 when the pain starts in. Also...

back to normal

Hi guys,

Well, it's been several weeks now and my neck is fine. Haven't had another problem with it since I started doing the exercises. I can't thank you enough. It feels so great to just be back to normal again.
