Hey Dean… thanks to you, this website, and the encouraging words from others, I am sure that this will be a great year. My back has not been better or stronger since I was a very young man. Rebuilding my back is a daily thing and I would have it no other way. It has been 1 year and 4 months since my last back episode and I am never going back there. Thanks again and a happy new year to you. KRD

Hello Dean, and all you other back rebuilders
The old year was successful (survived 2 weeks at Disneyworld, arrived in Oregon in November with too much stuff {will never move again}, and successfully moved into our new home in Grants Pass, Oregon, during the Christmas holiday). Very little problem with the back during all the activity; more problems with my emotional reactions to all the inevitable problems associated with moving across the country. Is there a rebuildyourBRAIN website out there????? I seem to be getting more and more cranky the older I get. It doesn’t feel good, but can’t seem to put a lid on expressing the anger inappropriately.
I’ll be back driving on the road in a couple days, and will probably have very limited time to check in on the forum. Haven’t made the jump to buying a laptop … yet. In the meantime, y’all are welcome to call me on my cell (541.761.5586) anytime to exchange e-mail addresses.
Randolph Proksch
Thanks again y’all for all the help the last two years. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Hey Randolph,
So glad to finally hear from you. I was starting to get worried. I was going to try sending an email to your old address, but I was sure it would be closed. Send me your new email address when you get the chance.
Glad you made it to Oregon safe and sound and have gotten settled in. Too bad you weren’t able to stop by on your way across country. (I figured by the time you got this far, you and the family would be tired and wanting to keep going rather than stopping for a visit. You’re always welcome anytime.)
On the laptop situation, there are some inexpensive ones just starting to hit the market that have better Wifi than the conventional Dell’s and HP’s. I mention one in my post about laptops (EeePC) and there are more on the way this Spring. Prices should drop even further as more competition hits the marketplace.
I don’t know much about Wifi yet, but apparently there are “hotspots” where you can attach to the Internet for free if you know what you’re doing.
Again, thanks for dropping me a note. I guess I can cancel that search party now.
