Hellppppp dont know what to do!

My medical doctor told me to see a chiropractor!!!! Told me my pain as its gone one for nearly a year theres no way i can just help myself!!! He seemed to think ostepaths or chiropractors was a good option.....In the UK they do have to do a 5 year course and do actually become doctors....

I really am at end of tether.......someone talk me down from the roof!!!

Everyone i have seen to know has said my neck thoracic and lower back is not that serious! Great so why is it ruinnng my life with a life long sentence of pain! Every time i swim my thoracic spine just gives me loads of hurt....

I just dont seem to be able to get on the road to recovery!

Not doing all that pain management crap to me thats just giving up i want to get outta pain!!!

Some one please suggest to me who i should go and see!

Hi Pete,

I'm new to this group. I just started rebuilding my back a couple of months ago. I'm definately not an expert, but I know for me I had to stop all other strenous activities until my back started feeling better. Even now, I'm just easing back into activities that used to cause me pain. You might need to lay off the swimming for a while if you haven't already. You've probably already figured that out I'm sure.

Also, watch your posture. I kind of overlooked that part of the book at first and it wasn't until I read it over again that I started to realize that I had to do more than just the exercises. Now I try to watch how I sit and stand and I think it is making a difference.
Hope you get to feeling better,
Tim
