I have broadbased disc bulging at L4/5 causing sciatica leg pain on both legs and surgeon here recommends microdiscectomy. I live in Australia and would like to find out the ballpark estimate for the same procedure done in USA. I do not have medical coverage and will have to pay out of pocket. Can someone shed some light on the medical cost?
