How do you determine the site of an injury?

Postby dodd » Fri Mar 14, 2008 2:20 pm

Early last year I fractured my left hip near the ball and socket. For months until I got a MRI I thought I had hurt my back. My left hip has slowly gotten better but is still far from perfect. Unfortunately I was favouring my left hip and so my right hip has gotten sore and a few weeks ago I started getting numbness in my right thigh. A CT scan just reported that I have a slightly bulging disc. My physio thinks I have a pinched nerve, but I dont feel pain in the right side of my back. It is more pronounced in my right hip especialy after I have been laying down. Im not sure where to put Ice and heat. Do I treat my hip or my back?

Regards
