Sciatica

I have a terrible sciatica problem and I am looking for relief. Has anyone tried Rolfing? A friend tells me he is getting great results from this technique but I am very skeptical. I have had several epidurals and other treatments. I am reading "Rebuild Your Back" and following the guidance given there. Just started on this program but my pain is terrible! Help!!!

Epidurals?????

Postby krd » Tue May 29, 2007 2:40 pm

Hey Cookie

Welcome to the forum. I too had sciatica, 2 years in a row. I had 2 epidurals and aggressive PT last year. I have been completely pain free now since last November, and I am now fully active, even playing golf 3 to 4 times a week.

Did the epidurals relieve your pain? Did you have any PT after the epidurals? Did your MRI show the cause of your sciatica? Just wondering, because it would be easier to give you some input.

This is a great site and the RYB book is worth every dime that you will donate to it. Rebuilding your back is the only way to go. Remember, it has to become a way of life to keep the "beast" at bay. Talk to you soon.
