Folks,
this seems to give a bit of hope, my friend saw this on australian health channel.

I beleive Dean does not allow to post surgeon link here. But I want opinion of folks on this.
Any folks with Russian contacts, this has originated inMoscow, Russia.
i investigated more and learnt that there would be more information on the site http://www.arcuomedical.com in a month. The clinical trials will be done in US in Stnaford and Philadelphia and this would be avialable in market in say 2 to 3 years.

Please reflect on this.
This is from the tv cahnnel's web site:

MELTINGS BACKS
Location: Moscow, Russia
Reporter: Graham Phillips

Synopsis:
Chances are you will suffer some kind of back pain in your lifetime. A massive 80% of the population does. Graham Phillips has discovered a radical new procedure that uses a laser to treat back pain. The procedure involves relatively minor surgery where the surgeon inserts a laser beam right into the damaged disc. The laser heats the cartilage and the Russian scientists say this triggers the disc into regrowing cells and regenerating the cartilage and ultimately removing the pain. Graham meets a patient whose life has changed as a result of the procedure.

Thanks for the intriguing info, Rupert. We're going to have to find out more on this.

In previous posts, (if I remember correctly), Dean wrote that he had no problem with recommending other websites; just don't put the www. part with the site name, so anyone interested can't link from the RYB site.
