I herniated my disk (MRI -L4L5) from a fall. I have not been able to run or golf. The pain has gone away, but does come back once in awhile. I would like to start playing golf again but somewhat "chicken". Any advise!
Thanks.

Hi Skumar,

The fact that the pain does go away is a good sign. Means that more than likely you are in the 90% range of people who can rebuild their backs. Your best bet would be to get Dean's book and give the basic exercises a try for about a month before you start to ease back into your old sports activities. Rebuilding your back is a lot easier than you might think.

Also be sure to read The Truth About Herniated Discs.
