Desiccated disk

I am 49 years old, in good shape and very health orientated.

I was diagnosed with a desiccated disk in 2006. I have continued my exercise programs including back exercises. I have an inversion table that I use regularly.

I want to continue to play golf if at all possible. However, the pain is becoming more intense.

What are my options for reducing the pain and/or repairing the disk(s) that are drying out?? (Do I have any options?)

Thank you for your assistance.

My mom has dessicated disks. She was told for part of her therapy to drink more water and take fish oils. Something simple you can start doing.... I'm sure other things are more individual and your doctor can prescribe for you (therapies and/or exercises.)
