Hi, I was wondering if any of you could help me with this lower back pain that I have? I went to a Chiropractor 2 times a week for 3 months until I finally figured out that he was just soakin me for money.I have had the pain for about 6 months now. I then went for a mri and the report shows intervertable osteochondrosis at L5-S1 with retrolisthesis of L5 over S1. It also shows disc bulging, a narrowing at L5-S1 disc space and subarticular MODIC endplate changes. After reading this it sounds like I'm on death row. I am 31 years old and work construction an d any advice would be appreciated.

Bruce- the best thing you could do for yourself is to download the RYB program and get to it. I've had physicians diagnose me with everything under the sun but never had any relief from my pain until I went on the program.........man I'm starting to sound like a paid endorser.....

Anway, downoad the book, read carefully and take it slow. You know your body better than anybody else, so listen to what it (your body) is telling you.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Yes, Bruce, it sounds like you're on death row ... and it feels like it too ... but you aren't. I've been there, felt those hopeless, desperate feelings, thought I was doomed ... but the feelings are not accurate prophets of your future. Most folks respond favorably to the physcial therapy outlined in Dean's books and articles. Like Seann writes, you've got some good reading to do!

Good luck, Randolph

Thanks guys, I sure do appreciate your thoughts. I went to a spine specialist on 4-23 and he said that I have arthritis on my L5-S1 disc which is causing the herniated disc, and gave me a few pills to try. He said if that didnt work he would give me some shots.
Thanks, Bruce
