Hello
39yo female
i have been suffering with back pain for several years and in Sept 2005 i had SED (endoscopic discectomy) and am still having back pain.
i downloaded the book yesterday and started stretches today. My back pain is mostly with forward motion. I get very stiff and feel as if i cannot bend forward at all. Is this program going to help me?

Just curious. What did you have the SED discectomy done for? Was in for lower back pain or for sciatica? If for sciatica, did the surgery resolve your pain in you legs? Was the surgery sucessful initially or have you always had the forward pain ever since the surgery?

I had it done for L4/L5 disc herniation that caused muscle spasm so bad in my back that I literally could not stand up straight. The surgery was successful for the spasms and pain into my legs but in the last year I am having severe stiffness (not always pain) just so stiff and pain when I try to bend forward. I really think it may be from my becoming more sedentary since the surgery in fear of hurting my back. I have started riding my bicycle in the last 2 days and hope that will help stretch and rebuild back muscles. Any ideas?
