Bikram yoga

Has anyone tried this?

I have mild neck pain/pain all over my back. It's not THAT bad, and I have pretty much full range of motion but it's CONSTANT pain that never seems to go away.

I usually feel better when I'm doing bikram and after the classes? Will these classes strengthen my back and neck?

Hi Chris,

The only thing I know about Bikram is from having seen it on 60 Minutes.

I'm sure it is a good exercise (Yoga) program and will strengthen your neck and body. But it might be too aggressive for dealing with an injury.

I would be inclined to try resting the injury for a few days and then slowly start a gentle rehab. program like Dean recommends. Later, you can get back into the hardcore yoga stuff after the pain problem resolves.
