Advanced Exercises

Post by Big Dave » Thu Jun 16, 2005 4:44 pm

Hi guys,

I've been rebuilding now for about 2 months and so far I've only done the basic exercises. I'm about to start adding some of the advanced exercises and my question is this.

I know the advanced section is for designing a custom exercise program and that I don't do all of the exercises but I'm still a little unsure what exercises would be the best to add first. How can I tell?

Any suggestions?

Big Dave

Hi Big Dave,

Check the suggested exercise routines at the back of the book. They're a good place to start. That's what I did.

Hi Big Dave,

First off, I recommend that you start adding in the advanced exercises slowly. Preferrably one at a time. Work with an exercise for a week or two and you'll know what it does.

Personally, I have a normal routine that I do everyday which includes the core exercises and 3 or 4 of the advanced. Every once in a while I'll throw in something I haven't done for a while just for good measure.

Thanks guys,

I forgot about the exercise routines in the back of the book. I'm going to start with the one on page 119 for now. It looks like a good one.

Thanks,
Big Dave
