What kind of facet syndrome?
Usually they are treated by opening that facet "lock" with manipulative treatment. Then the pressure of the nerves and muscles relieve. I have been experienced that many times.

What tests you use to diagnose it? Are they osteopathian, physioterapian, chiropractic on some other manual therapy tests?
Provocation tests? Palpation tests? Flexion tests?
And what do you look with the tests?
