I have an L5S1 herniation but no surgery... yet. You should probably ask you dr (not the chiro) but may you should look into an inversion table instead of the expensive decompression DRX9000. I am using one and I like it. Not doing great but I think it helps. Hoping to avoid surgery.

Not sure... I have sciatica due to a herniated L5S1. The backbends and cobra, while sometimes initially quite painful, due tend to help over time. I think its important to take them slow. First if lying flat on your stomach with your back relaxed hurts, then put a small pillow under your hips until ...

So, I had an MRI today and they offered to give me a CD of the images. I came home and looked and was a bit shocked at the size of the herniation (L5S1). I knew there would be one since I had one in 2009 but the size was a bit shocking. Using the measuring tool I think 15mm or so. (I think). My pain...
